behind the work

current maturity and claim boundary

1seal is currently an N=1 research and engineering effort.

the project is grounded in coordinated vulnerability disclosure and public trust-infrastructure security research. public records include CVEs, GHSAs, upstream fixes, and researcher-authored security PRs.

this is not presented as mature standardization. external review, design-partner validation, conformance testing, and independent implementation are required before broader standard or product claims.

the current posture is: public research, draft LMV specification, minimal public evidence verifier, and private semantic LMV implementation.

public boundary

  • public: research portfolio, disclosure policy, draft LMV specification, and minimal offline DSSE/JCS verifier.
  • private/pre-release: semantic/accountable LMV verifier, detection algorithms, production invariant engine, and product toolkit.
  • not claimed: mature standard status, universal trust layer, moral or ethical verifier, or broad legitimacy judgment.
